Her Story

Let me tell you a little about Miss T.  She applied to be a part of our Body Love Project with Boudoir Nashville by Angela’s Photography last Spring.  In her application she shared some of her insecurities. I’m sure a lot of us can relate, we all struggle with body insecurities.  However, she thinks her journey and struggles began around 8 years old.  One struggle she mentioned was as a chocolate girl, her skin color added to that self conscious low self esteem she had throughout the years.  Plus, she’s had two kids which we all know what that can do to our bodies.  Now she’s 33 and just getting to a place where she’s comfortable and learning to love and accept her body. She was excited to join this project. And I’m happy she’s a part of celebrating beautiful women of all shapes, colors and sizes!  

The Session

When it came time for her session, we talked about what ideas she had and how we could make those happen.  Her significant other was into sports. So she decided to bring one of his jerseys and a football.  We got some amazing shots that I’m sure will knock his socks off!  She also brought in a couple black numbers. This is always some of my favorites…I love black!  But then she also had some color pops. She brought a fun multi colored yellow gold bra and panty set, and a hot red outfit which was a one piece but left the breasts exposed.  And of course we ended with the infamous “sheets”!  It was so much fun helping her pick her images!!  

After The Session

At the end of the day, this is what she had to say in a review she left for Boudoir Nashville…”This was the best experience I’ve ever had for myself! I was so nervous at first but Angela was AMAZING! She was professional, but also supportive and encouraging. The studio was beautiful and my picture proofs were GORGEOUS! I can’t wait to see the finished product. Would recommend this 100+”. Reading this makes me proud that I can offer such an experience that can leave women feeling better about themselves and show them they are beautiful TODAY!
